I'm remembering our last home game against Grimsby - nearly a year ago. We were complete and utter crap and should have lost by 3 or 4. Instead, we kept it to 1 and got a very streaky late penalty. Even the penalty kick was such crap it fooled the Grimsby keeper and we stole a point. We have them *last* home game this season. I'm wondering if there will be more late drama.
I think the team are still suffering from the Wrexham result. Coming after two brilliant away wins, this could have damaged their confidence badly. They haven't played as they felt they could win either of the last two home games. No urgency from some players, just passing ball around as usual and hoping something would happen.
You have to wonder what Tsaroulla has done to piss off Lindsey. Last two matches we were crying out for his pace, attacking play, willingness to shoot, etc. But he's been left stuck on the bench, as SL has brought on literally anybody else as subs.
He's one of our very best players. I'm hugely worried he'll be on his way at the end of the season. Off to a club that values him and recognises his ability and what he brings to a team.

I agree, I can't believe he wasn't bought on last night. I would have bought him on as my first sub. The only explanation I can think of was he was carrying a knock or slightly unwell.
He is out of contract at the end of the season, and would not be surprised if he moves on. Would be a terrible if it was on a free transfer. Hopefully Scott can persuade him that he is part of his plans for next season.

I think Tsaroulla has gone and he’s not even part of Scott’s plan for this season let alone next.

That is madness. Even if he has a pre-contract agreement FFS play him when needed and quite honestly he is needed!

So true.
He is such an effective player and terrorises opposition defences when he’s on his game by running at them.
Hit home for me in the Colchester game when he was overlooked to come on as a sub when they went down to 10 men, which to me was a situation Taylor made for Nick T to come on a get at them.
Yes Forster was still on the pitch then but put Nick on the right , especially when Gordon wasn’t playing on that side either.

I'm worried SL/the owners have already decided who is for the axe come the end of the season, and Nick T is one of them. Although why not play him in the last few games to help our play-off push? He could have made the difference in the last two games if he had been given the chance. It smacks of the Nichols situation tbh.
