Can you appeal against yellow cards though - even for mistaken identity? I thought it was only reds.
The honest truth is the team aren't really good enough for the play offs. We happen to have a style of play that is suited to palying away when the home team has to attack us. And that has got us some results that has pushed us up the table. Whats been absoloutley clear since January is that we can't break teams down at home when they sit back.
To be honest we have over performed this season . When you consider we really don't have a decent front man less even a back up its a remarkable season. That's not dissing Orsi for his very limited ability he has had an astonishing season. When you figure he can't head the ball' has absoloutley no ability to hold the ball up or control it, no pace, cant make a run through and stay on side.. he's delivered nothing short of a miricale this season If we can find somekne to pay us 75k to take him off us it will be the sale of the centuary. With the squad and ability in it we have had an unbelievable season.
Our defence has been abysmal too. Why Scott insists on sticking with Wright and Maguire when we have better defenders is beyond me. We have lost more games than anyone in the top 13, particularly at home. Only Harrogate, Salford and Forest Green have lost more at home than us, hence why we are not in a better position.
Also don't know why Liam Kelly doesn't take corners, as he takes a good corner, and Will Wright would be much better in the opposing box. We also defended a couple of early corners with everyone in the box. Due to his height , Kelly should be further forward to draw two of their players out and not defend free kicks.

We don't do any of that because it's differing from Plan A, and that's not allowed.
By the way there was no way Williams should have been booked.
He didn’t even make the tackle , he just fell over the bodies in front of him.
Crass incompetence from the ref and hugely damaging for us as we lose Jay for the next 2 games.
Jay Williams should actually be suspended for 3 games for reaching 15 bookings in the season, not the 2 mentioned by Scott in his interview. I think he only said two because we have two normal games left. If we reach the playoffs, he will also be suspended for the first leg off of the playoff. You could see from his reaction how upset he was as he knew he was now suspended.
Everyone knows I’m a tiresomely huge fan of SL and we are lucky to have him.
BUT I’ve been nothing but impressed by Mukena when he’s played and for the life of me, can’t understand why he’s still confined to the subs bench.
He’s athletic, skilful and looks to be playing like someone who’s been doing this L2 thing for years.
He offers a heck of a lot, clearly nowhere near the finished article but better than we have taking his berth in the side currently.
Absolutely this. I rate Lindsey, it would be a disaster if he left us. But he's so stubborn in always playing the same CBs - he's like Southgate always picking Maguire (ha!) Henderson and Rashford irrelevant of how well they are playing for their club sides.
He's happy to drop Gordon and Tsaroulla, waste their ability, but Mukena, Omole, Olagunju can't get a chance at CB. A strange one. I wonder if Ransom will be available for the last two games?

I think Williams was correctly booked. The original foul was by Kelly but Williams went in on the Barrow player and caught him. I'd like to feel sorry for him but 15 bookings in a season tells it's own story.
I have my views on the players in the team and the style of play not all bad or complimentary but if I was a coach if the opposition I know how I'd tell us to play.
Barrow are a decent team - they have not been in the play-off positions for so long by accident. Looking at this game on its own merits, it was a cracking game which either side could have won but I thought we deserved to win, not only for controlling the game but also for the second half chances we created, against an unambitious Barrow side who saw it as a mustn't lose game.
A bit of a slow first half by both teams but always the potential for explosive moments.
Barrow knew what they doing and others have pointed out that we struggle to break teams down. Do we though? It does seem that way but we broke down Notts County at home with a storming come back after they dug in, we broke Stockport down at home to draw and we broke a more than decent Barrow team down to draw
I understand why people say this and how it looks at the time but we have done very well coming back against strong teams in a number of games.
I imagine the disappointment of not winning on Saturday or last night magnifies those feelings.
Personally, I thought we played well. We dominated the game and kept possession well, although there was very little attacking threat up front - two or three buzzy, half chances and a couple of deflections. At the other end, other than their goal, which was very well worked and taken and one great save by Corey, the rest if their shots were not threatening.
The defence played well in the first half a couple of hearts in the mouth moments but generally pretty solid. We had great success out wide, both Harry and Ade were superb and beat their man time and time again. The problem is, there was nobody in the box for the crosses and there were no real cut backs for those on the edge of the area.
Liam had a very solid game, Jeremy was decent and Jay was outstanding. Lolos was always there or thereabouts but was squeezed every time he had the ball.
Thr speed of Harry and Ade and their success at getting to the by-line so regularly, probably explains why Nick struggles to get into the side but it worries me that Nick's time with us is being run down and Scott is favouring those players who will be with us next season.
Orsi tried hard as usual but he is a real dilemma. He offers very little up front but he scores goals!
The second half was much better from us - we carried a real threat going forward. Barrow also carried a threat and did seem that they looked likely to score every time they came forward. Three outstanding saves from Corey - one a double save - kept us in it and then we got the penalty. Was it the correct decision? I don't know as I didn't have a good view of it but Orsi blasted it in.
After that we had other chances to win it, the Jack Roles shot, Lolos' header Liam and Campbell's shots, any if which could have gone in. Their keeper made some outstanding saves as well.
MoM - some great performances, Liam (of course) Ade, Harry but I would go for Corey who pulled some crucial (and unexpected) saves at key points in the game.
A draw with Barrow who sit above us in the table- a decent result, even if we all wanted more. So, the real damage was done against Colchester with those two calamitous goals.
