It was purgatory. A thoroughly miserable afternoon, and the worst conditions I have ever seen a football match played, apart from possibly a blizzard at Maine Road. 90 minutes in the tea bar downstairs would have been preferable (made a bad decision there). Macc wanted it, we (the team) looked as if we just wanted to get back on the coach and head home. Let's try and forget this one and move on. Roll on Carlisle!

oh dear...sputhern softies? Weve another northern team Saturday, can we manage to compete?
A lot of doom and gloom on here about the manager. However he hasn't been helped by injuries to Smith and Morais, suspensions to Palmer and Connelly and the fact that some poor signings by HK, Poleon for example have left him with very few alternatives. It's a bad run and all teams have them, so I see no need to panic yet and I'm sure we will come out the other side. What is needed at the moment is for everybody to get behind whatever team we put out.

God help us if Palmer or Morris get any long term injuries.
