I think Cioffi could come good next season if we stay up, and we'd have the luxury of giving him until Christmas to prove himself
I also wonder if a dramatic change in leadership could just kick our arses over the line. Cioffi often talks about mentality and the squad must be be wondering what they can do to get those vital and elusive points. It can't be great in the changing room right now
Its a gamble
My ideal would be to put Cioffi on gardening leave for a month, get a wildcard in for the rest of the season to really freshen it up (do or die), then get him back to build for next season
I don't think this has happened in football but the way things are going we have little, or perhaps a lot, to lose
Due to the dire position we now find ourselves in why don't we do like Southend have done and get an old wise head in to help Cioffi get us over the line if they are not going to sack him. We have a local person in John Yems who is available and I am sure would welcome the opportunity. Let face it cant get much worse except dropping into the bottom two because if we carry on playing under the leadership of Cioffi that is where we seem to be heading.

too many cooks and what better way to p1ss gabby off than constantly undermine him first Brewster then who else? When does it stop?

38 Games under Gabby: 9 wins, 7 Draws and 22 losses ... I wonder if thats the worst win ratio and record any manager at this great club has ever subjected its great fans to. Im shocked its that bad. How can anyone defend that record? You have to point the finger at the owners that refuse to face these facts and ask WHY?
A note to RR&R, where is your "impossible to be relegated" message this evening?
Don't worry, it's on the relegation thread
Time will tell: he's either the coolest cucumber in Crawley or an absolute @#$%%
I hope he is a fine example of an elongated green fruit who is shivering[/quote]
I have faith im not at all concerned. Im convinced we cannot possibly lose against both Yeovil and Notts Co. I preduct we will narrowly lose in Somerset but beat Notts. Then even the pessamistic fans can start to relax and look forward to league two football again next season. History shows theres often an odd blip in form books and Maccelsfielders proved that tonight butthey are incapable of sustaining that form. Its not like theyve signed an entirely new team. Remember Crawley have a handful of highly skilled players that will play sh1te one week and average the next. That average is good enough in this p155 poor league to yield sufficient points for safety. Chill we are staying up.

there are no men in white coats im RED RED and RED its in my blood its in my heart and in m soul i totally believe we are safe from relegation that is impossible as the remaining fixtures form and players of all teams concerned demonstrate to me Crawley will NOT cannot finish in the bottom two, take a look at all these fixtures (Where is BICH when you need him) and you wll see there is no need to panic Mr Mannering
