certain players WERE in our plans but when we are safe from relegation the need for high paid players goes and so do they. Simples. Its called life at Crawley Town FC.
I'm afraid it raises more serious questions about the (in)competence of the people running Crawley Town.
You don't sign experienced players like this on good salaries, only to find that 5 months into a 2 year deal they are surplus to requirements and need to be paid off in order to join a club in a ....er....higher division.
Also as far as not fitting the manager's plans, well if Cioffi had a plan or was able to string some results together then the stench of bullshit might not be as strong.
Romain must be shitting himself with laughter with a pay off and an 18 month deal at Shrewsbury.
I haven't seen anything as silly as this since we signed Emile Sinclair and realised about a month later we had dropped £100,000 on a Rymans quality player. Or the farce with Dean Cox.
Come to think of it it is becoming an unfortunate habit. But remember, Eren said his people were football people, right?
Vincelot was not paid off his contract was cancelled by mutual consent
I stand by my sources that he was paid off.
Of course he could have been transferred on a free.....
Also would love for anyone on here to name a game where Vincelot actually played well for us.. answers on a postcard.
Anyone who thinks this Vincelot thing is a big deal rather than a fairly routine bit of football business, please have a go at answering the above question

I thought Vincelot always looked like a makeshift - and undersized - centre-back whenever he played for us, that has been the main theme of every post i have made on the matter...
....but you seem as incapable of understanding that point as a few other obvious ones that appear far too subtle for you (yawn).

So basically no, you can’t think of a game where Vincelot did really well, cheers. Me neither, which while there may be legitimate reasons to criticise the club on some issues, moving on this player really doesn’t seem one of them
Jesus, you are appearing more stupid with every post. He looked like a decent midfielder being asked to play out of position in a shaky defence, hardly a basis for a starring role.
How easy can i make this for you... how about by repeating my opening post.
A very good player, but wasted at centre back, i would have liked to see him playing in front of the back line.
If he is not going to play for us then best to get someone else to pay his wages.
Can you spot any problem with the idea of moving him on...?
My issue is with ignorant twats like you comparing him with Morais, when the guy never got a single game in his right position, that is bang out of line. The fella at least deserves credit for his team ethos.
Are we done... or do i need to explain it to you a few more times...?
No, repeating what you’ve said constantly plus with a load of abusive language added (why the need, what is wrong with you?) shows to me you don’t have much of an argument

Is it groundhog day...? It really is good progress that you noticed that I have had to repeat my point - to the extreme extent of re-posting my opening comment too - shame i needed to... Cos it is frustrating for me as well & i will try to not let it show in any future dialogues with complete er... nitwits...!
Well there you go, I’m capable of making my point without labelling people stupid, twats or nitwits. If that’s the difference between us, I’m fairly comfortable with that. This is a good messageboard and we should all help out the people who run it by keeping disagreements civil

You are wasting time Thad, sone people wouldn't get the point if it hit them between the eyes. Sign an established midfielder, play him at CB, then say he not part of your plans.
Bit like United playing Pogba at CB and then paying him to go away after a few poor games.
