This, although potentially unforeseen by the club, raises more questions around budget management, and how the squad was built in the summer.
To me, we have a extremely misbalance from our 'high' earners to our 'low' earners, and now it seems we may be trying to fix or even accommodate the mistakes we made in the summer.
On the pitch, I rated Connolly as our best defender, and if we're going to continue to play three centre halves, then we need to get one quickly today, or pray for no injuries.
It seems the starting three will be Francomb, Mcnerney and Dallison with Maguire and Ngala to step in if needed. How interesting that we are at this point, considering we started the season with Connolly, and Vincelot playing as a partnership.......oh for continuity eh???
well if you believe in what rumours were/are out their 2 of our top 5 earners have gone with Morris, Smith and Morais left
That's what I heard, but where has that money then gone?
Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware of the financial issues we have, due to a small fan base etc., but I cant accept that the budget is continuing to be increased, like has been quoted by the board.
If it has been increased from previous seasons, maybe we need to look at who is doing the spending, and how successful that is.
Indeed Thad he will be missed I just hope a replacement is being lined up
Would have thought Dallison was Conns replacement and Willock for Vincelot. Not expecting any more transfer news.
I see on the BBC that Dundee Utd have paid an 'undisclosed fee' for Connolly
A couple of days ago Selim said 2 in and 2 or 3 out, a midfielder and a striker being the ins, meanwhile surely we've been able to find someone somewhere to take Randall as he's obviously got no future at Crawley
