The role of fans associations in their football clubs

I agree with him, the CTSA shouldn't bloody have to chase it...!

Why they do, almost certainly has its origins in our recent history.

We had owners here who managed to get us into administration & a £1.8m CVA in 10 months... WTFinhell they are supposed to have spent that on was never adequately explained - they separately owed £250k to the Duly family for the original purchase - and subsequent commitments to pay creditors at 50% were delayed by a year.

During that period, it was ONLY the creditors relationship with a fans representative body that prevented them seeking liquidation. We also had major points deductions every season those lying crooks were here, with players & staff unpaid.

Our former Chairman (although he would not know what an AGM is & was just a comedy thuggish figurehead for his bankrupt but cash-rich Brother) eventually ended up being jailed.

And that is without even mentioning the threats, intimidation, vandalism & actual physical violence that occurred.

We are a sceptical, nosey, cynical bunch Paul, can you see why...?

Personally I hope this is the last time the CTSA will need to remind a club official of the need to deal with something they should have done months before.

The O&D test is there for a purpose....as Thad says some of us have memories of two administrations at Crawley as well as several opaque management and ownership structures.
