Of course, we had a TOWIE/King of the Jungle "twitteratti celeb" as a player once... before anyone knew who he was...!
And his brother played for us as well.
except he never won the Jungle programme.....
My best ever celeb moment was when I found myself in a queue alongside Seve Ballesteros (well about 4 down from him) we were queuing up to meet Muhammed Ali at Sports Personality of the Century.Proper legends

And what’s worse is that he is always referred to as a reality star and never as a former footballer🙄😡. What a sad society we have become 😡😡😡
To be fair, his football career never took off, he played about 50 senior games in non league football. So to call him a former footballer seems a bit of a stretch.
I was the person in front of Bryan Ferry at the Storrington chip shop - he was at the top of the charts with 'jealous guy' - but his local popularity plummeted with the long lunchtime queue behind him, when he ordered TEN cod & chips...!

I'm just proud to be able to say that I wouldn't know any single person who's been on TOWIE, King of the Jungle or Big Brother, nor would I recognise any of the fathers of Katie Price's numerous children, although I did follow someone who was identified to me as Jodie Marsh up the escalators at St Pancras one day, very nice arse, then the hideously ugly things face came into view ......

Surely you must know of Jade Goody (sorry unsure how to spell her name correctly) BB both made her and broke her

You're lucky it wasn't Elton John when he was at the top of the charts with "Saturday nights alright for fighting" , somebody may have got battered 😉

I did know of her existence but have always made the maximum effort to divert my eyes and brain from the TV and gutter press headlines, I don't think she or her Z list friends appeared in the Telegraph very often, thankfully ..

No very true but she did before her untimely death help promote breast cancer awareness and the need to check oneself so she does have a positive legacy
