It must be obvious to any impartial observer, that a respected global organisation with the pedigree of FIFA, would not have awarded the World Cup Finals to a country with the noble sporting traditions of Qatar, for anything other than the most honourable football reasons...
...why don't these interfering "do-gooders" in the so-called legal sector, stop their merciless hounding & harassing of individuals, who have selflessly devoted themselves to the advancement of the game for little reward or recognition...?

Without wandering too far off point & a strong desire to stay out of politics:
I felt recent coverage of Michael Gove & his dabbling in cocaine when he was a journalist, was very selective in its faux outrage & hypocrisy...
...if he was an ex-footballer making the same admission, the focus would be on the rife cultural acceptance that tolerates the casual use of class A drugs, throughout all levels of the game...
...funny how when it happens in media circles itself, they raise the drawbridge & deflect attention, to ensure that you just do not look too closely at their own behaviour...!
I also don't want to get into too much politics but the prospect of a media dominated by Rupert Murdoch's empire as well as the two Daily Granny Scarers fills me with dread. And these journalistic sorts (on all sides) who plead "public interest" when they hang somebody out to dry but would recoil in horror if they came under the same scrutiny themselves as to their bias smacks of much hypocrisy? You started it anyway Thad!!
