Well if he's been around the club since the start of the year then GC must know quite a bit about him, having been at 5 clubs at 19 sounds a bit of a negative but it's all about what he does in the future rather than the past, good luck to him
Can not get my head round this two year deal and on the same day we loan out we loan out Ricky Germane this kid was supposed to be the new kid on the block!!
I heard that there was a bit of a bust up/argument between our new keeper and one of the trialists after one of the horsham goals. Does anyone know if it was this guy involved or one of the others?
As others have said, 5 non league clubs at 19 isn't the most promising sign but you never know.

If German isn't ready for first team football yet then a loan is by far the best thing, why have him sitting around when he can be getting experience elsewhere and can be recalled if needed? As for the contracts, I personally don't know why anyone has them at all as they're shoved to one side whenever a player wants his own way but if you look at some of the other non league to league transfers at other clubs we are no different, Accrington even signed one a couple of weeks ago on a 3 year contract

I agree, better to be playing games, although he cannot be recalled during the loan. Having said that it was pretty obvious last season that he was miles off the pace in terms of fitness and I'm not sure how playing for a part time club will help that (unless he is training full time with us, in which case a full time player in a part time league should do well).
As for contracts, it's total gamble. If you give short term deals then there is a risk that someone like James Collins would have walked for nothing. If you offer long term deals you take the risk that if you sign a duffer (Verheydt/Sanoh type) then you need someone willing to take them. Or you end up paying them money to go away (Vincelot/Randall scenario). That isn't limited to NL players.

Good point on training, I'm sure I'll be proved wrong but didn't Allarakhia train with us last season when he was on loan at Wealdstone?
