Didn't Kewell say when he came in that he knows he'll need a plan A, B, C etc for different games? It could be he's testing the water to see whether we have ball players in the squad, which, to me, is fine in friendly matches.
We started off well playing that way under DD and from what I remember, it was Portsmouth away where we were really caught out playing this way and were 3-0 down inside 30 minutes or so and we were a bit more reluctant to continue with that style from then on.

Trying plan a b or c, more like plan relegatiin passing out from the back against a premier league team playing like flamingoes on one leg and still running rings around us makes no sense.
