First of all shocking attendance. Felt like I was in an empty library. Another lubala goal to prove the difference we can’t keep relying on him if he keeps scoring and goes for a big fee. Camara and Bulman had a great game. 3 points and more momentum as we go into Plymouth game. You reds
Lets not forget Glenn Morris who made quite a few very decent saves when it mattered, too easy to overlook how much we owe him, even his kicking was effective.
Bit more of a scrap then it should have been, feel we have the energy, pace & talent but nearly undone by our inability to control the tempo when we needed to see the game out.
On balance an entertaining & deserved win. Promising start for S-W at Centre-Back is a real positive too.
We were clearly the better team today. All our midfielders were excellent today and Ferguson unlucky he had to be the tactical sacrifice. Bloomfield looked good tucked behind Palmer.
Only odd moment was Lubala heading for the changing room while all his teammates were celebrating in the middle a very good win. Hopefully just the penalty disappointment
A close encounter that past seasons would often finish empty handed. We did enough. Mansfield missed a few that couldve seen them win with comfort. Bullman excellent closing down. Greggo MOM his crossing, pace, quality, energy is a delight to watch. Beat Plymouth and maybe a few more locals will see us in play off spot and try the new Crawley brand out. Onwards an upwards. COYR.
Lubalya was double teamed most of the match. When that happens we need to make use of the extra man a little better.
I thought Doherty was lucky to stay on the pitch today. The booking was harsh but I thought the ref was trying to cool a few people down but when he dived into that tackle on the half way line...! I was waiting for the second yellow.
Good debut for Sendles-White. Looks a good player. Palmer put a decent shift in up front but Camara was everywhere. My man of the match.
Jammy goal but I thought we just about deserved to win the game. The difference in attitude from the team compared to last season is amazing. They look as though they want to win instead of not wanting to lose. Great afternoons entertainment.

Only person who had a worse first-half than Doherty was the ref. But Doherty was our man in the right place for a great goaline clearance 2nd half to redeem himself.
Great performance, only negatives were the penalty miss and that we didn't score more than one. Last season we'd have drawn or lost that game, especially after the disappointment of missing the penalty.
First half was excellent, played with tempo on the front foot, should have converted the penalty and gone in ahead. Second half was more even and Mansfield had a few chances to score, but we managed to hold out in the end.
Sendles-White slotted in nicely and the defence wasn't weakened at all without Dallison, SW barely put a foot wrong. Rest of the team put in a good shift as well.
Good win and I'm slowly starting to believe that with this group of players we can challenge up the top of the table, the only thing that could be our downfall is ability to kill games off with the amount of chances we miss.

Agree Thad. The referee today had an absolute shocker and I too was waiting for Doherty to be shown a second yellow for that reckless tackle. On the balance of play, we certainly deserved the win. Played some good stuff at times. Note to Cioffi - put Palmer on penalty taking duty from now on. Morris made some important saves - a much better game from him. Another good win, if we can keep the current form going then hopefully more people will come and watch and attendances will slowly climb
Applying football logic: The result from Carrow Road must offer conclusive irrefutable evidence that Crawley Town are currently a better team than the Premier League champions...(?)
