In my opinion, this is a very good signing. Proven himself at League 1 level where I seem to recall Burton Albion in particularly spoke highly of him. At one point early in his career it looked like he was going to break into the Saints first team, but unfortunately for him a series of loan moves have followed, most tending to be half season loans. Will be good to see what he can do with a full season.
Looks like a very good signing. Experienced midfielder. We now have a large squad which will be difficult for the fringe players to develop their game.

And it’s those loans that actually work out well for us and make him look like a really good signing, given where he’s been on loan at.
We seem to have a lot of talent in Midfield & I can see 'Our Dannie' & 'Ash The Gas' concentrating on coaching duties.
Interesting point from Saturday's game is that Jack Powell is clearly a very effective intelligent playmaker, but he needs to have decent forwards doing the right things ahead of him to translate it into goals...!
Agree with Thad, when Watters came on making himself available playing across the front line Nichol came to life with the rest of the team showing pace and movement that's been missing.
