Agree Thad - although he has been the catalyst to get supporters backing the team again after a few years in the doldrums - Nichols and Nadesan were the likely goal scorers but he has come in and blown them away - to be honest all the new signings have been good and made the rest improve there game and attitude
I remember we started the season with Nadesan and German up front - both of whom looked decent last season just it was curtailed, with Sam Ashford as back-up. Nichols didn’t look to be a prolific scorer, then we signed this guy last with Maidstone, and bang - who’d have believed it. You’re both right though, Watters has given fans something/someone to get really excited about, while Nichols has supported in more ways than one - provider for Watters and others, and having the highly respectable tally of 8 goals himself.
