I'm 99% sure you cant but maybe some else knows better. What I did notice for the last round even though the match was on the BBC it appeared on the ifollow purchase listing so maybe for a tenner one off payment we'll be able to watch this match in the same way. I cannot imagine anyone paid to watch the Leeds game on ifollow as it was on the BBC but it's possible. Very disappointed its not on the BBC again.
Annoyingly and I argue rather stupidly as surely these TV Co. can work out a lot of fans in same area will be interested to maybe watch rival games - BT have bot Sussex teams kicking off at the same time. So whereas I might've considered purchasing for a month and watching 2 games of interest I won't be now.
George, my internet searches seem to suggest the same. I hope the i-player thing does work otherwise I will be trawling around my mates to see if I can borrow a BT Sport logon.
I guess that a month long pass may provide some insurance for IF we go through the next round and that fixture is deemed to boring for live BBC transmission
I hate BT Sport and I hate Amazon and Sky the lot you will find your club is on one of these one week then the other the next and so it carrys on. It would be good if covered by ifollow. Perhaps the club could confirm.
I have asked AFC Bournemouth streaming if the match is available to purchase but it appears from looking at their site they only cover matches not on TV, but its not clear to me if you are a season ticket holder whether you can also watch their streaming service if matches are on TV but again this may only be league matches. As its not the league maybe radio will have live broadcast commentary? Then BBC Radio Sussex love in with Brighton and them playing at the same time thats not gonna happen unless Radio Surrey broadcasts? Alternatively a local RAdio Solent etc radio station in Dorset ay be broadcasting the match/
Interview with Erdem on SKY looks promising as subject to covid testing Friday and Sunday the Bournemouth game could be rearranged for Tuesday, its worth a look.
Says on official website "further announcement regarding future fixtures, including the Reds FA Cup tie against AFC Bournemouth, to come in due course." BBC premature or club slow to keep up? So looks like we may play in the cup on Tuesday, or not!
According to the FA rules, the Professional Game Board will consider each postponement on its own merits. However, if both teams have 14 players fit and registered, matches must (must!) go ahead. If a club has to postpone then the Professional Game Board is "likely" to award the tie to their opponents.
The FA will take all factors into consideration when considering if matches can be rescheduled but in this event, matches must be able to be played before the next round.
Tricky - nobody is sure yet what the PGB will make of this and the likely timings. With the Fifth Round due to be played on the 10th February, this gives us and Bournemouth two midweeks before then.
We are due to play Walsall on Tuesday the 26th January and Leyton Orient on Tuesday the 2nd February. Bournemouth play Reading on Friday the 29th January, Sheffield Wednesday on the 2nd February and Birmingham on the 6th February - so two packed schedules.
A lot depends on how willing the FA are to re-arrange fixtures.
JOHN YEM'S RED ARMY!
In view of previous decisions made, I fear we will have to forfeit.

No club has forfeited in the FA Cup yet though - Leyton Orient had to forfeit against Spurs in the Carabao Cup under the Carabao Cup rules, which are specific - if a club is unable to fulfil a fixture due to self-isolating, they forfeit the match, with no possibility of reprieve built into the rules.
The FA Cup rules are less specific and state that the outcome from each postponement will be determined on its own merits. Sky reported that although the rules are along the lines I paraphrased earlier (postponement meaning the Professional Game Board is "likely" to award the tie to their opponents), the FA is very keen to have the games played if at all possible and although the rules read in a very draconian manner, they are very open to the games being re-arranged.
The hard part will be negotiating fixture re-arrangements with the EFL as there are no (realistic) midweek slots available.
We shall see what happens but there no expectations at the moment to forfeit until the FA have carried out their investigation (so fingers crossed!).
