Walsall re-arranged for 16th March 7pm ko so the club aren't expecting fans back by then?
I would be surprised if fans are allowed in by then. If it is the case, I reckon we will only be back to heavily restricted capacity at best. I can't see away fans being allowed, so the earlier kick off probably wouldn't be an issue.
I take the view that if you write off the rest of this season, you may end up with a surprise in a couple of months.

So we have 5 players still testing positive for covid. Everyone else clear and able to resume training. Not a lot of time to prepare for Bournemouth.
We don't know which 5 players are still isolating obviously. But if they are Morris, Nichols, Nadesan, Tunnicliffe and Dallison then I don't rate our chances too highly. Lucky we have such a large squad to choose from. Let's just hope our best players are available.
Such a big game for CTFC. What a nightmare build up to it. All 3 matches postponed and minimal training. I still think we can win it though
The odds are now I believe heavier stacked against us than against Leeds. No disrespect to other squad players but the above list are all huge key players. I'm encouraged by but also somewhat surprised this isn't already happening (at all clubs in an attempt to minimise matters): "Twice-weekly EFL testing is now being conducted across the EFL after funding was provided by the PFA and will continue to be implemented for the foreseeable future."
Having 5 players out is a lot better than the original 10!
Thankfully, we have a big squad!
I was having a think as to what the worst 5 players out could be and would agree with Northgate. I might swap Dallison out though as I don't think he is essential considering we have Nico T who can play left back and McNearny and Craig at CB. JMD and Tilley are probably Covid free and so will play.
I saw that there was an out of favour midfielder joining Southend who has Covid hence why they couldn't join them last week. I should imagine it would be a Crawley player? Ferguson? Let's hope if that is true, that he is part of the 5 which reduces only 4 of our players actually having Covid.
I can only repeat the odds are massively stacked against us. We don't know the extent of the outbreak i.e. mild symptoms or worse, but it's quite possible the 11 players we put out will not be 100% whether that be because of even very mild effects of Covid and/or the hugely disadvantaged preparations. We may well have a squad of depth and may need it, after all this could go to extra time, but how strong will the bench be as I think its highly unlikely we can compete without calling upon more than 11 players. I feel the need to revise my score prediction due to the aforementioned by I am also trying to remain positive and hope we can pull off what I would see as a much bigger shock win than against Leeds United. Ferguson would be a big loss. I 100% agree with Northgate Red's (top) 5 players though. For me Dallison just gets better and better the more I have seen of him. He gets in some brilliant forward positions and if he can work on his attacking play (with feet) more I think he will be the next big sell on.
I think the club need to find whatever any reason at all to try and further postpone this match. Whatever the reason snow, a firework display in the park outside the ground, this match needs to be put off because the task for John and Lee is near impossible, the gap between Championship and all the money they have with the parachute payments and so on to league two is millions and its got millions bigger with this dreadful Covid. My prediction match postponed.
The speculation on who has the virus and who doesn't is rather crass.
I believe the club will earn circa £80k from tv money for this game. There is no money for losing the tie. If we postpone the game the club may lose the TV money because there is not a guarantee the broadcastors would show it at a later date. Can the club afford to gamble with that amount of money at this time?
Can the club afford the backlog of games?
That is beside the point that we will be seen to be running scared because five players are out and we would face fa sanctions for postponing without a good reason.
If we can safely put out a side the game should be played.

I don't think it is anything like that as it is a "red button" job, but otherwise I totally agree with your sentiments.

Defo amongst the weirdest posts I have seen on this forum...We did just beat a Premier League team 3-0...Cheltenham came close to beating Man City....I don't know what you are on about?
My apologies, I was using the fee for both clubs. Its £42k each for broadcasts over the BT network or red button (source; FA website)
Still a fair wedge especially if added to the £67k for winning.

Blimey Jim, no apology needed BTW, but I thought it was nearer £20k - I was basing it on earlier red button rounds I suppose.
Given that outside of Crawley and Bournemouth fans there will be little interest given the Premier League games on the mainstream (IMHO), that is certainly not to be sniffed at. Cancel the game (an earlier suggestion), I ask you .....
Is Rodari cup-tied out of interest ?
I predict this is the end of the road, not an embarrassing defeat, but check out time. Oh ....... and I have not got one prediction right yet !!
I believe that the winning F A Cup prize money of £90k is again split £67.5k to the winner and £22.5k to the loser. Still some money coming into the club - The club have said that they are taking him to the game today so maybe on the bench - so no he isn't cup tied by the sounds of it. We are also in our 3rd kit today the White and Blue.
