This game has come around at the wrong time. A long trip after 2 defeats quickly followed by the Easter programme. Plenty of injuries as well. Just the sort of game we will win, Difficult to predict the result. Maybe 0-2 to Crawley
Carlisle fans say their team has been the worst in league 2 since they had a covid outbreak (the stats back that up) and their captain, Lewis Hardcastle, has had to retire due to a heart problem (only about 22 years old). They have definitely taken some knocks since Xmas.

Just the sort of game we find a way of losing!
Carlisle 3-1 Crawley
Jim Baker
Almost, Jim, but not quite. Our form has been ridiculously poor since more than half of our squad developed covid and our schedule had been relentless following many postponements. We’ve also picked up quite a few injuries so things aren’t looking too good. We’ve shown some flashes of form though, most notably against Cambridge last time out. It could go either way imho.
However, the unfortunate Lewis Hardcastle played for Barrow, not us. Right county, different team, and off by about 70 miles.
No problem Jim, mine farts all the time. Incidentally, some folk might have missed the fact that the game is tonight. We had such a fixture backlog that while most Clubs are playing Monday and Friday over Easter, we have to Play Tuesday - Saturday - Tuesday. You will notice how knackered our lot are after an hour this evening. If we are to get anything out of this game we will have to be 2 up by then. A reminder might be wise to ensure that anyone who wants to watch the (mis)match can buy in on iFollow.

You lot need to invite Jimmy Glass along to watch your games - lucky mascot and all that.

As a football fan as a sports fan, as a human being I have to say that was one of the most amazing moments ever. It must have been eve more amazing to have been there in person. Brilliant videos of this reminds me to look up again on You Tube later.

That's right. You don't have to support a particular team to enjoy such special moments. I've played it back a few times down the years.
