No Frank here. Just a keen Crawley Fan stating the obvious. I never said Yems should go, I just said he shouldnt be manager, he would be best used elsewhere in the club.
Josh Wright started 9 games - Won 0. Davies average goals conceded when he starts 0.7 goals. When Craig starts 1.6 goals. We all know John Yems is a Good Scout and a Nice Guy, but NOT a good manager. He bought badly in January, but instead of holding his hands up, he just keeps playing them and keeps making bad team selections. We all know you bought well at Bournemouth John, and you bought well here at the start of the season also, so you are forgiven for buying badly in December & January. Hold your hands up John before its too late and start playing Davies! STATS DONT LIE!
FT Carlisle 2 Crawley 0. Awful performance. Totally disjointed. No spark. Midfield useless. Defence beaten far too easily. Attack didn’t get near the goal. Just going through the motions out there. Carlisle sat back second half after leading 2-0 at HT and we could’ve played all day and we wouldn’t have scored. Never looked like getting anything out of the game.
Worst performance I can recall under Yems. Josh Wright was hopeless not that any of the others were much better. Shocking management though wiyth late subs, WTF is James Tilley suppose to do with 4 minutes of normal time remaining?
Could be an interesting interview if John Yems steps up? 2-0 but really that could've been 10 we were never in that game from start to finish.
It could be embarrassing rather than interesting If he resorts to Saturday's assessment that "they turned up, we didn't and we got battered" he will show himself up as inept and inconsequential as a manager. If he blames X,Y or Z he will look like a fool He can't win. Quite literally
I thought that Carlisle had done their homework on us. They identified our creative players in Powell, Nadesan and Nichols giving them no space and smothering them out of the match. Our midfield was terrible, they never seemed to win the second ball. Wright backed away from the attacker for their second goal. Carlisle were far the better team.
Carlisle looked like they wanted it. There was energy, they did the simple things well, they didn't strike me as anything particularly special just a top half side. I think our underpar performance made them look better than they are but take nothing away from Carlisle they deserved the win and we got what we deserved absolutely nothing. We sit in mid-table where we'll probably finish the season, certainly can't see us finishing any higher.

Already I'm beginning to dread next season unless we spend some of the Watters million on some experienced players instead of the young potentials who happen to live locally.
I didn't watch tonight. You think about spending the £10, but, honestly, after watching us against Walsall, Barrow, and PV I thought it was time to face that I am not enjoying anything about watching this team at the moment.
You can analyse all you like about individual performances, how Yems has done, whether or not he is a knob in interviews, how we are punching above our weight, but ultimately we are not good to watch at the moment, and any joy and fun in this season (and there was some building up to and including Leeds) has been sucked out.
