We have only had more than 10 shots in a match on 12 occasions this season.
7 times - when hesketh started. 6 times - when nicholls played behind the striker. 4 times - when francomb started in midfield (most of his starts have been in defense). 1 time - when josh wright started (14 starts so far).
What are we going for today John? Time to give Khaleel a go and move Francomb into Midfield aswell surely? or are we going for the 5 shots in 90 mins midfield again?
Not sure we should give Khaleel 'a go' today. If his performances in training warrant inclusion then fairy Nuff but FGR are trying to achieve promotion and it would not be fair on the other play off hopefuls if we fielded a weakened team...think about if it happened to us. We wouldn't like it so we shouldn't do it to others.
Did see a nice training video where Grego-Cox was sprinting. Great news even if he is not ready to play today but without Nichols we are light up top. It would be a plus if he could get some game time.
I agree Jim. The time to experiment with the squad is the Stevenage game. We owe it to the other teams going for promotion to put out the strongest team available. Hopefully of a good performance and a win today.

I totally disagree. last game we had 3 shots all game at Newport, in most of the last 15 games we have had less than 10 shots each game. very few shots set up from midfield players. i think all the midfielders in the last game are national league players except for Hess, so you guys think Khaleel is below national league level? and you think Francomb is less than National league level in midfield? C'mon
We look low on confidence, just can’t get anything going forward. Taking out the young attacking full backs is a bad call by Yems, where is the energy going to come from? The midfield can’t pass to save their lives. Seems just a matter of time before FGR score
Fortunate to still be level in this (0-0) at HT; very reliant on Watters and then Nichols and now I do wonder where a goal will come from. We may not score again this season. Now if my glass looked half full I may consider a clean sheet a very good start and as Yems will always say of you can't win it at least hold onto what you started with.
If anyone thinks this lot are good enough to get up promoted think again, those veggies have shown us up all over the park its a miracle we are not losing.
