I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Crawley Town FC.
To the players, management, directors, owner and staff.
For an entertaining season of football, in what has been the most testing times in this country in any of our lives.
The team playing matches on iFollow and TV has been a very welcome distraction from the doom and gloom of government covid death slide shows and the constant news of the pandemic over recent times.
Can I echo the same -it’s been a good season all round considering the restrictions that we have had to abide by - looking forward to another successful season ahead - keep the progress going and the attendances will increase -
( l expect that this thread will be high-jacked by the usual brigade of - well you know who )

Must say I have been a critic of Eren, Erdem & Co in the past but in my books they have done well this season.
To finish 12th and have a cup run exceeded my expectations on what must be one of the smallest budgets in the league with all the other challenges thrown at the club.
To turn a profit of £1m+ on a player within 4 months is also critical income and a great result. Far better to operate a youth based strategy than throwing money at past it pros only here for the cash.
If we can maintain form against the better sides whilst working out how to put away the strugglers we will be in good shape next season.

Like you Simon, I believe that fans have an ultimate loyalty to the club, which at times can make for an uncomfortable relationship with the owners.
But all credit where it is due. March last year it was all doom & gloom on both a local & national level, there were no positives, lots of uncertainties & just getting through seemed ambitious.
I know that "ambition" is a subjective & contentious term. I suggest that by any definition we have done much more than simply survive... and believe me, 14 months ago I would have happily settled for just that...!
Another good update from Erdem and again thanks to Zyra Eren for his continued support of the club - who without him we would not be where we are in the EFL - next season it would be brilliant to push on from this horrendous season especially with the fans back in our stadium and supporting our team.
