A draw is no good to Scotland or Croatia, so both should be going for the win, especially if still level after an hour or so.
England and Czech Republic look set to qualify whatever happens, but a draw would make totally certain. Unofficial collusion made to look like non-collusion?
Yes, I realised soon after posting that two groups already have third placed teams on three points. I thought it was only one group until I checked shortly after posting.
EDIT: The Sky article doesn't mention that Italy have also qualified.
I haven't looked into it but I'm wondering how France, Portugal, and Germany ended up in the same group in a competition that has some degree of seeding.
Southgate questions how only Billy G needs to self isolate for the Scots (all in the same changing room) yet surely the same argument can be used for all the England players?

On this basis, it maybe better to watch the Scotland v Croatia game than the England game although I hope that the England performance tonight is not as dull as last Friday!

Totally agree that it is strange that 3 "big" teams ended up in the same group. Ukraine were in Pot 1?!!
Found this online and have copied relevant part: -
The pots
The teams are seeded based on their qualifying record, meaning that Wales and debutants Finland are in Pot Four with the as-yet-unknown play-off winners. World champions France are in Pot Two; Euro 2016 and Nations League winners Portugal are in Pot Three.
Pot One: Belgium, Italy, England, Germany, Spain, Ukraine.
Pot Two: France, Poland, Switzerland, Croatia, Netherlands, Russia.
Pot Three: Portugal, Turkey, Denmark, Austria, Sweden, Czech Republic.
Pot Four: Wales and Finland, plus the four play-off winners.
