A very enjoyable match that will stay long in the memory. Evans was everything I expected. Ludwig again looked very good. If only he had scored that penalty it would have meant Blondie to take the next one, we would still have lost. There was a spell of play early in the second half when our passing and attacking play was sublime.
I thought last night was great entertainment for £10! 4 goals (2 in stoppage time) a red card for Evans 🤣 and 19 penalties successfully converted. ALL the penalties were on target and a lot of them were dispatched with ruthless efficiency - take note English national team! Gillingham’s keeper made some excellent saves during the match and credit to the team for taking the game to penalties despite going behind 5 minutes into stoppage time. Blondy was unlucky with a couple of the penalties but definitely agree his kicking needs working on.
All in all I enjoyed it and it was great to be back at the ground for a competitive game for the first time in ages!
Went to collect my ticket that I brought online. Asked where to queue and the steward said at the ticket office. Bloody long queue. Beats the object of buying in line but amen. Got to the front and was told I'm in the wrong queue. Seems to collect online purchased tickets you have to go to the grey box marked cash only! Whose bright idea was that?
Missed the opening goal because I had to stand in bloody long queues twice.
Customer satisfaction optional it seems.

Agree Jim that this is not acceptable. Club need to address this ASAP. Why such a queue when the attendance was only about 30% of capacity 🤷♂️
Steve Evans getting sent to the stands was without a doubt the best moment of the game, as I was sat in the bit right next to the executive seats he wasn't too far away from me
Gutted for Ludwig but he looks like a very solid addition to the team and could end up being our best buy this summer. Blondy's distribution was really poor though, I lost count how many times he kicked it out of play on the left side. Overall I thought the team did well to take it to pens when you consider they fell behind in 93rd minute plus were without a lot of the best players (Morris, Tunny, Tsaroulla and Nichols). Yems must play 2 up front next Tuesday though if we are to get a good result
Did they start the 'you fat barsteward' chant? I would have gone but I worked late and was knackered when I got home. Sounds like I missed a pretty decent game.

Quite a few times. Disappointed he didn’t do the thumbs up of times past but he has the Gills fans to genuflect to these days
Ludwig looks a find and such a shame he missed the penalty. Headed the ball clear, glided across the ground against some fast forwards and never shirked a challenge...including trying to put a player into the west stand which got Evans sent off.
Blondy's kicking needs some work.
Will Ferry was nice and busy.
Criticism: I think we need to up the fitness regime. Their second goal came after we had cleared the ball and stayed in our own penalty area. Just a chip forward, a headed challenge that fell nicely for their guy to volley in. Had we pushed out the headed challenge would have been too far out for a shot on goal.

I agree with Jim about 'Upping of the Fitness Regime' - Maybe the Team need to go to - 'thisistrainwright.com' - the Mark & Josh Wright Training Company. £30 for a mat, £10 for a water bottle. wow. I wonder if Yems is using this website with his players in Training?

He used to do the thumbs-up and wave after that chant if it was preceded by “Evans, give us a wave”. That bit needed to be sung first.

Game was great to watch but shame form those who were delayed coming in. For the West Stand ticket holders using Gate 6 - could we not also use Gate 7 and cut through? Seems crazy that queues build up at Gate 6 when there are empty gates in spitting distance? Could somebody ask club if possible.
Also with online purchase and ticket collection growing, could ticket office open up later? I'm sure there are many who would volunteer to help if existing staff are not keen to work different hours as they may already be doing plenty?
Hate to see queues building to get in when we could help fix it

Totally agree about gates 6 and 7 it’s always been an issue. However I bought an on line ticket, saved the pdf on the phone and showed that at the gate. To me it was really convenient.
The thing about the on line tickets that had me peeved was not the queue to collect them. If the place to collect had been clearly sign posted and if the stewards had pointed me to the correct place in the first place all would be well.
There was no indication of where to collect on line purchased tickets. The steward sent me to the back of a long queue which when I got to the front they said it was the incorrect queue. I was then directed to the box which quite clearly stated "Cash Only Tickects" where I had to stand at the back of another long queue!
I actually arrived at the ground 10-15 minutes before kick off and missed the start of the game. That's what pissed me off !
