The fact that owner passed the fit and proper person test fully explains why we need an independent regulator in football. He's an absolute crook who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near football
It reminds me of an incident at ours a few years ago, long before the current ownership, which led to me not buying a season ticket and banning myself from games. I felt I couldn't enjoy games while a small number of fellow supporters were treated that way.
It wouldn't surprise me if more Oldham supporters come out in sympathy.
Sorry Alex, I guess this is my specialist subject. Think this thread has said it all already. All I can add - based on my own experience - is the importance of fans sticking together. There is something rotten in the state of Oldham that reflects a bigger issue in football generally.
