Our goal did have a bit of a charmed life in the second half today. But as John says, the only stat that matters is the final score. And In my view, Northampton deserved precisely nothing out of this game if only for the two bits of outrageous play acting and cheating at the start of the game when they tried to get Joel Lynch sent off. As others have said, weak officials bought it but the players concerned should be utterly ashamed of their antics. But I doubt that they will be - it just seems to be part of the game these days as we saw last week with Sears and Dobra diving in the box every time somebody went near them.
