Crawley have confirmed that the stadium will revert to being called Broadfield Stadium. really pleased about this as it means that I can continue using my old scarf.
If they do buy it I hope the council puts a caveat on it as for sports use only.

Agreed and I think fans need to insist that it is the Club buying it and not the owners to then rent on. In my opinion, the biggest downfall of financial fair play was allowing clubs to sell their ground to the owners in order to get around FFP rules. From the top of my head, Derby, Sheff Wed and Reading have done this. When a Club fails, not owning the ground makes the Club much less attractive to potential buyers/savers and they are also beholden to their landlords (look at Coventry). I believe it was also a big issue at Bury who had even signed long term deals to lease out parking spots.
While the owners appear to be spending unprecedented amounts of monies on the club I wonder if buying the ground may be on the agenda?
Hope not as it’s always the lifeline of the club should ever things go wrong
If we do achieve amazing success and start climbing the leagues we’d need a new stadium on a roomier site anyway
I reckon it's more likely if we climb up the leagues that the Broadfield gets redeveloped. There's enough room on 3 sides to significantly expand the stands
