Incredible that he kept going here for so long after getting his diagnosis but you could always tell he was very genuine in wanting to do good things here. Great to see him doing the right thing now and focusing 100 per cent on his treatment and recovery. Hope we see him back if not later this season then the next fully healthy.
I liked his very open, meet-and-greet style but if the other Wagmi front guys are less comfortable doing that then they should do what they are best suited to
Wishing Preston all the best for a speedy recovery. Despite our lowly league table position I believe we will come good this year and Preston will be the driving force behind that. A thoroughly decent chap.
Wow. Very best wishes to Preston. He hasn't been here long but he has made a big impact.
What other club owners would offer free beers for moustaches, free beers and T shorts if you beat them at bowling, serving from the catering stands etc.
In most other clubs the supporters never hear from the owners unless they are sacking their managers. Some clubs never see the owners for months and supporters at some clubs are not quite sure who their owners are.
All the best to Preston. I met him in person and chatted to him briefly outside reds and he seemed like a very easy going friendly chap. The money that WAGMI have put in to the club and the iniatives they have done including reducing season ticket and matchday ticket prices are to be applauded and although like most people I am skeptical of WAGMI, I think we should try to be open minded and given WAGMI and Preston credit for the way they have gone about things so far.
