Seems as though England have reverted to type under Southgate. I'm bored to tears by us again!
Hope for the second half improvement.

have avoided watching England for last few years as so boring to watch. Decided to watch them this time and seen two games so far - haven't watched others yet as group stages don't mean a lot unless you go out! Makes me realise why I still enjoy watching the reds regularly despite our lower standards and often poor results especially meeting the regular fans who turn up for each game and have a catchup. It just seems more real and players are more receptive to the fans than the mega stars and it has a much more homely feeling. When Crawley were non league I watched a London team often and enjoyed the games but NEVER felt that anybody knew I was there or it made a difference to the players me being there. Watching Harry Maguire pass the ball square and get it back and then repeat it 2-3 times just bores me silly despite the fact that they are the best we have in England Still I want us to go all the way and will continue to watch, I guess its an age thing for those of us who were able to enjoy 1966!
I gave up watching that England game when Henderson was brought on. Was getting too many flashbacks of watching matches during the Kevin Betsy era and thought I have better things to do

I was wondering if Mr Betsy had obtained a job with England, but then I remembered the Iran game.
I was wondering whether to watch Belgium v Morocco or Ebbsleet v Fleetwood. Solution: Watch both. International on the laptop and FA Cup on TV Have cake. Eat.
