“When asked if the recent injury news effects Etherington’s January transfer window plans, he said, “That’s a conversation to be had with Chris [Galley, director of Football] and the owners but there’s definitely room to bring players in January and potentially trim the size of the squad down as well.”“ Erm if we’re struggling with injuries why trim down the squad? Odd comment? On another note Lynch injured AGAIN, going to be a huge blow. We’ve played much better with him at the back.

I think what he means is the players who aren't anywhere near the first team that aren't good enough for L2 will be moved on, which is sensible IMO

Exactly that. Start trimming down the squad and accepting any offers. The Jan window is never easy and realistically he is planning for next season. Anyway ME needs time, as he has inherited 2 squads to sort out.
Agree with GBred as well. Good promotion sides are built on a solid back 4/5. Unfortunately Joel Lynch struggles to put more than 3 or 4 games together without some issue. Deon Conroy was the same at Swindon, less than half the games.
Yes, it's a skill I picked up in the second year of infants school. You draw a graph with wins along one axis and draws and defeats along the other. If the line is exactly 45 degrees from (0,0), it's a 50% win rate. Do I get the job as the club's new statistician?

You are overqualified. Sorry. On the other hand if you could spout a bit of guff about NFTs you could be in business.
