How is he faring? It was the Telford signing that made me take notice of what was happening at Crawley and, extremely foolishly, believe you'd be promotion challengers this season. It would appear from afar that Telford was a one season wonder in 2021-2.

Telford has ability not being utilised he needs to play off others and with naff all service and playing your shortest player as a lone striker at home I think you know the answer!

Telford up front with Oteh as target man....its blindingly obvious that's the way we need to go. Nadesan is injured, so is Tilley and we've gifted Gillingham another of our best players. There's not really any other options. I'm certain ME knows this. Not so sure that Galley does unfortunately.

He's struggling but it very much feels like it's because we've now had three managers who have absolutely no idea how to use him. He thrived at Newport playing off Baker-Richardson and feeding off the loose balls created by his mate. With us, he's expected to do everything on his own and gets absolutely zero service. Being a shorty and seeing us play lofted high balls that Ollie Palmer would have struggled to reach on Monday summed up the issues entirely for me.
The Nichols replacement has to be a target man to play alongside Telford, we are screaming out for one. Or at the very least, recall Kwesi.

Well between Sept 2021 and Feb 2022 he was prolific with Baker-Richardson. Apart from that his stats are bang average at several clubs.

Which makes it all the more confusing why we're not playing him with a proper strike partner when it's the only time he's excelled.
