Today showed how weak our squad is - I said this to Preston in late August and it has got even weaker since. Some of the B team players we had to play today are just not good enough. At least Scott explained why he picked such a poor side. He said last week that he had earmarked the home games as games we can win. This was clearly marked as a loss before the game started. Hopefully he does not make the same mistake and trust some of these players again. Injury situation very worrying.
Yep to be fair, in our position, it’s not unknown for managers to target the games to win and maybe rest players for the ones we’re likely to lose.
Everyone chants WAGMI OUT but its GALLEY who has done the damage and dirty work for them so should he not come in for a few GALLEY OUT chants at the next game.

I doubt he will show his face Saturday. I'm sure for his own safety he has been advised to stay away. Unless he is Reggie?
I feel a wave of anxiety and depression. It's no fun watching the club any more. I'm nervously awaiting Saturday trying to work out all permutations of how we stay up but at the end of the day we are playing so badly I'm struggling to see us staying up.

In order for us to stay up we need Lady Luck and a sh** load of it. Colchester winning as heavily as they did is a blow as that could galvanise them for the remaining games. At this moment in time we are the worst side in the division. You don’t even need to look at recent form to know that. The optimist in me thinks we can get 7 points from the last 5 games and there’s a strong chance that might not even be enough. In the likely event we go down, no one can say it’s not deserved and that’s what hurts the most.
Agree with Trev, Galley is definitely one of the main causes of our issues and should come in for some stick. Our method of play trying to run players into the ground seems to be causing injuries as the players are not fit enough. May be Scott needs to look at his tactics for the last few games and see if we can play differently. We certainly need two up front to work together.
To be honest I wasn't expecting anything from today. It's the games against Tranmere, Walsall, Colchester and Hartlepool where we probably need 7 points.
I am with you on this Simon, in fact the point we got in our last game was one more than I expected from the last three games which were all tough against playoff wannabees.
What I hadn't expected going into the next two home games was the level of injury that Scott alluded too. I know its the done thing to blame Wagmi and Galley but why do we suffer so much from injuries and it was the same last year before they came so don't think its down to them per se. Whatever is happening it cant be all down to bad luck over such a prolonged period of time can it?

Not sure scapegoating one individual helps at the moment - far better to try and support the whole team while we have a chance of survival rather than look for easy targets.

I'm sure 99.9% of fans are supporting the team but are also human and hurting right now we appears destined to het relegated. Hard to sit back and take when you care so much about the club you support.

It’s not really scapegoating though, this may seem a poorly timed post but at least Preston has come out on camera and addressed the fans on a couple of occasions this season (not that it means anything) Chris Galley is an invisible man taking absolutely no responsibility for the shit show of a season. He is a crook and has stolen a wage by producing graphs and pie charts on players who are not even worthy of collecting data on. I know Lindsey has to face the cameras but at least he came over to the fans today to explain the torrid team selection. Managers are held to account for the players’ performance but we can’t hold him to account for his sole job?

The way things have been going lately, don't be surprised if Reggie gets in the starting eleven on Saturday

Everyone is supporting the whole team. Galley isn’t in the team so not sure how criticism of him means people aren’t behind the team. After the appalling season we’ve had, I think fans are perfectly entitled to criticise and expect some sort of accountability, and I’m afraid it falls at the door of Galley in particular and WAGMI. I’ve said it many a time - people need to stop mixing up criticism of the ownership and director of football with not being behind the team. The “let’s all get behind the team” mantra is exactly the sort of smokescreen we get from WAGMI and Galley.
