I know nothing about Galley but I do know if you pay peanuts you get monkeys it looks to me like the gravy train stopped some time back.I have just looked at Caleb number 50s profile on the website and it surely cannot be the same person we saw yesterday.
Not sure scapegoating one individual helps at the moment - far better to try and support the whole team while we have a chance of survival rather than look for easy targets.
Everyone is supporting the whole team. Galley isn’t in the team so not sure how criticism of him means people aren’t behind the team. After the appalling season we’ve had, I think fans are perfectly entitled to criticise and expect some sort of accountability, and I’m afraid it falls at the door of Galley in particular and WAGMI. I’ve said it many a time - people need to stop mixing up criticism of the ownership and director of football with not being behind the team. The “let’s all get behind the team” mantra is exactly the sort of smokescreen we get from WAGMI and Galley.
Yep exactly, Nichols and Morris didn’t sell themselves to Gillingham. Craig and Hessenthaler and Appiah didn’t loan themselves out. They have failed completely and utterly in recruitment and in the physio department. Gladwin, Mutch, Gordon and Conroy were decent signings but sadly they’re all a walking injury and all the players we have loaned out or sold were the ones that got injured very infrequently and got us 12th place. In their stead we have players like Johnson and Mason and Chuwemeka who look like they’ve only ever played at national league south level. All we needed was a few decent signings in defence and midfield to bolster the squad and add some depth. Wether Betsy had a say in them I don’t know but it has cost us massively if so. I am fully behind the ones who are trying their best like Telford, Fellows, Powell etc but a lot of the squad are simply not good enough and it’s not really their fault if the crypto guys think their stats were good one season and offer them a lot of money. It all goes down to no true CEO/DOF and recruitment and injury management. Which is not the players fault.

Don't think there is a million miles between us JB but I would say that with my simple mind I cant see how banging on about getting Wagmi or Gally out DURING a game helps the team as it is time when we could / should be cheering THEM on rather than diverting attention from the match itself. We are all super frustrated about how things have gone to date and there have been many poor decisions throughout the season (as well as some good ones although they pale into insignificance given our current plight) and at some stage there will need to be a reckoning and a way forward agreed.
As no one has seen any WAGMI owners since Christmas if we get relegated i would not be surprised if we just get told the clubs been sold and we will not see WAGMI again. Personally i will not be sorry if that how it pans out as long as Galley disappears with them, after the way they have managed the club no new owners can be that bad surly.
Some may think that I've been lacking in restraint about the owners but if I were to write what I really think, it would keep the moderators unfairly busy - so I don't. The only other reason for any restraint on my part is that I don't want to start feeling too guilty if Preston's skin cancer turns out to be worse than anyone is admitting.

I don't disagree, but the post about Galley that you responded to is on a message board at 7.22pm on a Monday evening....surely that's the time to criticise?
