For me, we could do with more experienced players all over the pitch even as standbys for injuries to existing first team members.
I know our defence is in obvious need of strengthening, but number one priority for me is a big strong mobile centre forward.
I see a lot of L2 clubs have their own version of this type of player, but we clearly don’t at the moment.
I love Orsii, but we need a strong athletic forward who can bully opposition defenders and also to take the heat off our defenders by holding the ball up during vulnerable periods in games.
Surely with the right backing from the owners we can get a hold of someone of this type, who doesn’t necessarily have to be the most skilful pacey forward in the world in order to make the type of difference I’m trying to describe in this post.
Wagmi, over to you…..
Someone like Matt Smith at Salford?

Yes exactly the type of player I meant but maybe a bit quicker pace wise!
Been in lurk mode for a while, but have to say it’s been a far better season than most of us dared dream of. Scott has provided stability and improved performances in some style. Long may it continue. 👏👏👏⚽️
