My View is they are All BIG GAMBLES, but hopefully their Teenage Promise comes to Fruition here at CTFC.
1/ Olagunju - Massive Teenage Potential but Bad Injuries for 4 years - Big Gamble - Hopefully Big Improvement & Was Getting Stronger at EbbsFleet & was all Noted by Scott - 8 out of 10 Signing.
2/ Kelly - Massive USA College Potential but has not done himself Justice as yet since his College Days! Hopefully Scott has been Monitoring this Player, and not EBEN & PRESTON - 7 out of 10 Signing!
3/ Sandford - Reserve Goalkeeper who hopefully will NOT be needed in the League - 4 out of 10 Signing.

Personally I think we got what we expected. Northgate and Sooty have been on here many times predicting this and as such not a surprise. I am happy to have some new blood, would have preferred proven talent and a striker but we are what we are. So only a 5 out of ten from me until we see otherwise.
I don't think we should be too judgemental on the proceedings until we know the facts. Scott is a big boy and has had 3 weeks of very little to do match wise so has had every opportunity to be as involved as he felt was needed. Its possible we had a long list of potential signings and one by one we failed as they were made better offers elsewhere until we got to yesterday. Lets hope we were still only half way down our lists pecking order rather than at the very bottom if that was the case.
If it wasn't, hands up and it is amateur hour as a fellow poster has said and that would include everybody in the decision making chain.
Watching the video of Kelly’s goals he appears good with his head and takes his goals well. He will require time to adjust to league 2 football. Olangunjo appears to be the type of player I was expecting us to sign.
Reserve judgement until I have seen them play a few matches.

Agree with everything you say above. The biggest issue for me is no striker. Scott was asked if he could only have one of the three hoped signings which would be want, but he said he did not want to say in case it did not happen (which it didn't). However it was very clear what he wanted was a striker to take the pressure of Orsi.
I am just satisfied we didn't lose any of the so called first teamers as we do have a fairly strong starting line up with a couple of good subs on the bench - time will tell if we get a lot of injuries and suspensions in the second half of the season. The only positive thing is that we can still sign a keeper on an emergency loan if needed - but we still haven't seen the new keeper yet.
if the two new players prove themselves then that will be a good window in my opinion.
