Had to check Crawley list of Managers to jog my memory. I see Sean O'Driscoll was a failure in all his jobs lasting 5 months at Forest took Bristol City down and did not last long at Walsall either. Now at Weymouth? Looks like we dodged a bullet there!
Not at all, he’d have been excellent for us I think. Didn’t fail at Forest - inexplicably sacked on Boxing Day, after beating Leeds, with them in 7th place, as their overseas owners wanted a big name in place for the transfer window (they appointed Alex McLeish🤦♂️).

I vaguely remember that he made some good signings in his short time here. Nicky Adam’s?

He left Weymouth after less than a month after a "disastrous run of defeats".
Of the managers we've had SOD is the biggest of the "I don't blame him" list. Come on. Forest or Crawley?
As for the forum. Can someone ask, in conciliatory tones, are there any plans for raising extra funds to allow the management team to bring in players who can turn this season's progress (compared to last) into future gains and improvements?
Although getting players from lower leagues and improving them over time is a good plan it does require a proven player on the pitch to help them through.

Jim Baker
Theyll likely argue Gladwin is meant to be that proven player but given that his right knee is made of wet paper they need another big proven league 2 player!

Yep, Paul Jones, Mark Connolly, Nicky Adams, Mat Sadler and Shaun Cooper. Not a bad bunch.
