Shot shy Crawley Town a solution? After a turgid first half on Saturday we were a much more aggressive team after the second half substitutions. Is time that SL gives starts to Gordon, Lolos, Forster and Roles? Or is SL preferring to start his favourites and use the above as impact subs. Caveat I have no coaching experience 🤣🤣
Agree with this. SL is like Southgate - always picking his favourites regardless of form. Orsi needs a rest, Campbell isn't in great form at the moment. Lolos is brilliant and makes things happen. He should be starting. Adeyemo deserves a chance too, he's looked good when SL has bothered to play him. Roles is a different player this season, deserves a run in the midfield. Try him and the two Kellys, see how that works. Gordon should be stating every game, at RWB. Put Tsaroulla back on the bloody left where he should be!
No idea why the likes of Omole and Khaleel get overlooked all the time. Clearly SL doesn't rate them, which is a shame as he's never given them a chance. They'll be shown the door at the end of the season, along with Johnson, and all the guys currently out on loan. And why did he bother bringing in Olagunju? He'll be lucky if he makes 5 appearances for us.
Still, at least we beat Forest Gump. Gordon and Lolos made the difference when they came on as subs. I don't buy into this idea that some players can only make an impact off the bench. If they're in form....PLAY THEM!

I notice that Scott has started to use more substitutes recently. He also said he intends to freshen it up a little each game while we are playing two games a week, particularly forward players/wingers.
Both Lolos and Forster have played games recently, and I would not be surprised if Gordon starts soon after Saturday. Roles also started a couple of games recently.
Like Northgate, I can see the players out on loan, plus Brown, Omole, Sandford and Johnson moving on at the end of season. Not seen much of first three to judge them, but Johnson has had his chances. Khaleel, Adeyemo, Fish and Mukena have played few games, but are on two year contracts so could be here next year.
Roles is a bit of an enigma in my opinion, there is no doubt at times he has provided us with a good goal or a good assist but he worries me at times when he loses possession or loses his man when we don’t have possession. Maybe a run in the team may enhance his consistency who knows.
This may apply to Roles and it may apply to a number of players we don’t see play or play regularly but perhaps some of them are simply not performing well enough week in week out in training, we as fans only really see snippets of the players on a matchday, just playing devils advocat here
