Big shout out to man of the match Corey Addai, no? 😉
Okay, he may have hade a decent game today, that’s his job to stop the ball crossing the goal line.
Let’s see at the end of the season, eh?🙄

Assume you were one of the 97 travelling fans today? Corey made some huge saves to win us the game as he did on Tuesday night. Have a day off and just enjoy it.
Corey has been immense this last few games. We wouldn’t have 9 points if it wasn’t for him. Whatever the coaching staff have done to him since he was dropped they deserve a pay rise. Playing above this level at the moment. We are lucky to have him. Come on you f****** reds

I give a lot of credit to the goalkeeping coach Steve Hale. Since he’s come to the club Addai has improved massively.
Credit to him for working hard behind the scenes waiting for his chance to get back in the team and he’s taken that in these last two games in particular, big style.

Indeed, particularly considering Corey had less than 20 senior appearances before he joined us, and none of them were in the EFL. Yes, he still makes mistakes, but if he didn’t, he would already be playing in a higher league.
Interesting tweet from the club a short time ago thanking Liverpool FC for allowing the lads to train at their facility yesterday on their way up to Accrington.
Can’t imagine that to be too shabby a place to be around and must have been a real good experience for the team to train there.
Travelling back now- should be back at the stadium at 10.30ish - very happy supporters- the man of the match went to Corey Addai and thoroughly deserved-

As a way of thanking them we should invite them down for a pre season friendly.
