Over 2 hours in a queue. Organised chaos especially obtaining kit. Ive seen better organised jumble sales. Because everything is completely jumbled up people pick stuff up dump it anywhere, difficult read labelling. Absoluely 'free' for all. I very much doubt any West stand seats remain. Joined queue well past away turnstiles. Mayhem but I have a ticket receipt now just ffs organise collection in a better way.
Best of luck folks as I can see the queue goes on for miles now.
Hopefully you get what you want
How many people were serving when you got yours lightblue? It sounds like you got yours quite quickly once they opened. Is the queue moving quite quickly, as thinking of coming down this afternoon.
get there ASAP I think I heard West Stand sold out, few ppl moaning should've been STH only today. I agree. You go via main entrance upstairs and then lots fans in there all the Adidas stock is jumbled up. A mess really. The photographer takes your picture for free. You can then download it from qr code again free. Think were 5 or 6 serving ticket sales but the machine kept breaking down so that delayed serving. Seeing lots fans walk out with bags galore of kit. There was a lot up there when I was there around 1pm approx. Not so much medium size though. Had scarves, flags, footballs and various kit in pink, grey & black tops.

Just got my ticket. Just under hour in queue. As others have said masses of kit for sale but nothing much left in medium or large. Still a number of goalkeeper shirts left though. Queues were dying down a bit as I left about 2.45 ( just outside door).6 on tills but working fine when I was there.
Seemed to be a lot of new season ticket buyers in the queue, so I expect will be quite a few more this season.
As Ashdown said advantage of having season ticket is priority for cup games. Would not be surprised if nearly 2000 sold this season as such good value with match day prices increasing by more. If they allow 2 tickets per season ticket holder for cup games, that will leave few for general release, so may have to limit to one each, if sell over 2000 season tickets.

When I asked the club how many they hope to sell I was told to increased ST to 2500, now that would be something! At least it wasn't too hot and not raining and I had some pleasant conversations with fans in the queue. I think the opportunity to have a photo with the cup was great. Yes I also found the 'jumble sale' of kit etc. and wondered if there would be any left seeing people walk out with some huge bags full of clothing, but there seemed to be lots up there and as I picked a couple of tops out to purchase, staff were still bringing more boxes rammed full of more Adidas kit.
Club have said they have already sold more than 600 season tickets, more than half of last season's total, and more than half to new season ticket holders, so great start.
I note that match day prices have increased by £3 for all categories so the biggest match day increases are for the 14-20 year olds. However, they have the biggest savings only having to go to 11 or 12 games to make it worthwhile, as opposed to 15 for concessions and 16 for adults.
I therefore expect a lot of teenagers will become season ticket holders this year.
I was told that we would get them at the beginning of July - they have been sent out for the last couple of years straight to our addresses with the match and food vouchers.
They are not that quick, and will probably take longer this year if sell a lot more. I was told late July when I asked. I believe last season it was only a couple of weeks before season started.
Looking back on old forum posts they were very late last year and were available to pick up from the club only as too late to post. They were not available until Monday 31 July, 5 days before the first home game on Saturday 5 August!
Hopefully they will be a bit quicker this season, and at least the season does not start to the 10th August! They have also started selling tickets 11 days earlier than last year, so have more time.
So long as they are available earlier than a few days before we actually need to start using them - could do without joining another long queue to collect them.
I was told the club will put notification out on social media when they are ready to be collected. I wasnt told a timing (admitedly I never asked).
