Potential allocation of over 38,000 if needed, so everyone who wants a ticket should get one.
Slightly irked that there's no priority sale for season ticket holders, which Crewe are doing. Don't like the idea that someone who hasn't been to a game since Old Trafford (or ever) might get their choice of seats before those of us who have had a season ticket since the Beazer Homes League days do.
in principle you are correct STH need priority. However Crewe may have a unique fan number data system we dont have that. Perhaps the club can hold back 2k seats which im sure covers STH but the only viable system is operative. In reality are we going to sell 19,000? Maybe, but 38,000 unlikely. It has benefits e.g. STH and friends not STH can sit together.
Yeah really it's just a principle thing. I said "should" get one but yeah it would be insane if we somehow got anywhere near 38,000 sold. I've already had plenty of people who have never shown any interest in going to a game ask me how they can get tickets so should hopefully be a good number. Can't imagine we'll have enough to crash Ticketmaster in the morning though
Also looks like we're going with proper tickets whereas Crewe are using digital/print at home, so there's probably no time to split the sales. Hope the post isn't late this week
At Wembley whilst I do not want to sit, stand in the singing section I would like to sit amongst regular Crawley supporters. What did Northgate call the west stand regulars.? Anyway I hope some sections can be put aside or identified for season ticket holders and regulars.
I hope so, too.
Good shout out BUT as you can buy 6 im sure many will bring partners, friends, otger family members maybe not STH or even watched Crawley BUT you have to grow as a club somewhere somehow...

please provide link evidencing "proper tickets" - posted to you? Ideally i would like to see print at home/paper sent to you/digital - giving choice.

Both clubs are using Ticketmaster requiring email and mobile, so digital delivery. They won't be sending paper tickets given the state of the post and the time available (practically no-one could buy after Weds night if it was paper).
One thing, according to Crewe concessions are 65+, according to Crawley 60+. So some confusion there.

That's what I took this to mean in the post on the club site: "Due to the large volume of tickets needed to be sold and dispatched in such a short space of time...". Maybe it means via email but that takes about 4 seconds so can't see why they'd mention it otherwise.

yes concession may be confusing but MK away was 65+ and rules differ here and everywhere else i.e. what counts age wise as young person. You are buying from wembley not CTFC.
Digital tickets confirmed by Tom at the club on Twitter. So a smart phone is required. Worthy of mention as not everyone has one but hopefully with fans buying together at least one does.
They are the reason I don't go to many things nowadays. If I see they are selling the tickets for an event, I don't bother going. It's a disgrace that they have a monopoly on certain large venues, and get away with charging BS fees, i.e. per ticket, per transaction, especially when they aren't issuing physical tickets.

This. I hate Ticketbastard. They do zero work, customer does it all, but they still add in all these extra charges. Money grabbing twunts.

Of course, clubs set their own concession ages, however it's unlikely there will be two different ages for the same game.
Digital tickets which can be loaded onto any apple/android smart phone or print off at home is available. Also I have noticed that prices for all categories are cheaper than the league 1 play off final categories. Not sure how they worked that out but can't complain.

Fair enough one has go it wrong but if you buy a ticket on Crawley basis (I suspect they've got this wrong and used their own age banding for a concession) it will then depend of Wembley make it clear its 65+ i.e. at point of purchase - that's what I guess the law and Wembley staff will go on but that all said and done are they gonna ask for proof? Unlikely unless you look much younger
So, which block/section/area is everyone looking to buy tickets in? I thought I read something about blocks 132 to 135, but now i can't find it.
"STANDING AREA
Wembley Stadium has received approval for licensed standing areas as of the 2022-23 season. The standing area is located at the rear of the 3 blocks behind the goals on Level 1, at either end of the Stadium, incorporating around 867 seats. These are blocks 132-135.

To be expected the lower the std the lower the price and vice-versa
