Im caught in 2 minds, do I wear Red or White? I have a Scarf that I will wear loosely - I just wish the club did baseball caps but they havent done any for a long time (and I dont mean black ones but red with clear badge logo etc) could be an ideal day for a baseball cap, think of which anyone know which direction of the stadium gets he sun?
Rises in the East, sets in the West Just like last week.

Yeah Crewe got the short straw with this, we'll be in shade for most of it. I remember at the Luton vs Coventry game last year, I felt quite sorry for the Luton fans as it was nearly 30 degrees and they were baking in the sun in the East End. Low and Behold, Tom Lockyer then collapsed!!
So the sun will be in the faces of Crewe fans behind the goal? As we have fans on both sides of our end. Lets hope we win the toss and attack the end where our supporters are second half.
Here's a thought, but I'm unsure if I'm remembering correctly. Adam Crozier was high up in the FA for many years. After that he became high up in whatever the Post Office was calling itself that week. During his tenure at the Post Office, they introduced additional charging for packages above a certain size - moving on from weight charging only. These days, there seems to be an obsession with A4 bag sizes at football matches.
I hope Crozier doesn't join a door manufacturer or we might start seeing a restriction on letter box sizes.

I see on Facebook that additional trains have been put on for Sunday:
***Train information for Sunday…
Some great news GTR are putting on three additional services none of which will stop at Gatwick Airport❌ So basically Crawley Town football specials…🚂🔴😃
They are as follows…
0812 Horsham to London Victoria Crawley, Three Bridges, Horley, Redhill, East Croydon, Clapham Junction, London Victoria
0845 Three Bridges to London Victoria Horley, Redhill, East Croydon, Clapham Junction, London Victoria
0915 Horsham to West Hampstead Thameslink Crawley, Three Bridges, Horley, Redhill, London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon, St Pancras, West Hampstead Thameslink
These will go live on the national rail system overnight tonight. So you will be able to go online or on your app and see the exact timings. No additional services will run back from London as it’s hard to predict with the possibility of extra time/ penalties etc. Also I’m sure most people will stagger their journeys home, especially if we win!🍾🏆🥳
Also it’s very advisable to go and buy/collect your train tickets before Sunday if possible as the queues at the ticket machines are horrendous at the best of times at Three Bridges, without an additional 15,000+ Reds fans attempting to get to Wembley!😊🏟️🚂👍🏻 #Wembley #PlayOffs

Cheers for the info ESR. If I make it, I'll be getting on at Redhill, and the Farringdon connection hadn't occurred to me until you mentioned it earlier.
Haywards Heath to Farringdon, then tube non-stop to Wembley Park - ‘cos I want to walk the iconic Wembley (Olympic) Way to soak in the atmosphere before and after the match.
I’m with you East Sussex Red on going to Wembley Park tube via Farringdon. I want to walk the Wembley Way too, I know it’s not as quick to get to our section as getting off at Wembley Stadium stop (National Rail) but walking up Wembley Way is a must👍
Weather forecast for tomorrow has improved dramatically since I checked yesterday. Looking like a dry warm day☀️ www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2634549

Approx. 15,000 fans going up by train, how many people does a train hold ?
Anyone know?
im guessing if lots carriages maybe 1000? What i notice on nat rail timetable searching trains from Three Bridges up to London is they have a note saying train delayed due to a football match. How can they know that a day in advance? Surely that message should read something like 'expected to be extra busy because of a football match'

1,754 on a 12 car Thameslink. I actually looked it up

thats reassuring. My guess is of 16k fans. 750 by car, 500 by coach, 250 fly in/live North of Wembley leaves about 14,500 by train so account for non football travellers that could be 8 or so trains. Not everyone will pile in at Three Bridgesas we must have fans coming from Horsham, E Grinstead, Horley, Redhill, Haywards H etc, stilla lot though even if spread out so if extra trains are beimg put on thats good.
Rail network in our neck of the woods will be busy tomorrow. As well as our Wembley game, you need to factor in Arsenal, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea & Crystal Palace are all playing at home. Admittedly none of them kick off until 4pm, but being the last day of the season and the weather set fair, a lot of fans will go early to make a day of it. Great shout from E Sussex R to get train tickets in advance if travelling from Three Bridges. There’s a replacement bus service from East Grinstead station too, so a lot of fans who intended to train it up from there will probably go from Three Bridges instead.
