Yes it was a party on a personal note you wouldn't get from the PL teams and I'm sure some kids were delighted to get Selfies etc but for me this was cringeworthy and somewhat embarrassing - you would not see PL players in some sort of drunken state like this, in fact they pride themselves on discipline and disciplining he players should they be seen on a night out worse for wear. Was this captured on nation TV nah, was Oxford's yep. For me, the real celebration was the coming together after MK the spontaneous gathering outside the stadium and the celebration at FT and walking away from Wembley. I return to the fact this was a huge opportunity to widen the awareness of the club within the local community and it was terribly missed. What was wrong with a open-top bus tour from Town centre taking in various stop points for example to the stadium. Now that would have gained much wider media attention. Show me what paper, radio station, TV company produced footage of the boozed up party last night?
Totally agree with the behaviour comments.
Love these players and the manager. Legends one and all but watching the half pissed or fully pissed antics on social media in full view of fans and journalists, all caught on video was a horrific look to be honest .
Had a ticket but couldn’t go in the end, thank fck as well.
Do it in private the next time chaps when you’re celebrating promotion to the Championship please.

Fuck me, the ability of Crawley fans to moan about literally anything never ceases to amaze me. THEY JUST WON THE FUCKING PLAYOFFS AND GOT PROMOTED. Let them celebrate and enjoy themselves for [***}'s sake.
When England won the Ashes in 2005, no-one seemed to be too upset by Andrew Flintoff being paralytic at a reception with the Prime Minster after celebrating for over 24 hours non-stop !
If the players want to let off steam when they are weeks away from their next game, I really don't understand the problem. Bloody hell, that's pretty tame compared to the crap I got up to in my misspent youth.

I have to agree here it makes us look tin pot. Preston johnston shouldve intervened and told SL this is totally unacceptable. Im also wondering how serious some of the players take their profession. Many footballers are tee-total, why are they drinking so much alcohol? SL needs to get a grip on behaviour. Ive seen how one drink can easily lead to another. Time to stop the foolish antics and tighten up boundaries.
Some absolute jokers on here. Yeah, as if Premier league players don't get pissed in public. I know of at least half a dozen prosecuted for drink driving, Guilty or not Harry Maguire was there when there was a late night bar brawl. Jack Grealish anyone?
Get off your high horses and let the players have their deserved celebrations, and then come back ready for pre season friendlies

I don’t get some of the reactions either. It looks to me like a group of lads who have obviously built up a great team spirit celebrating what has been a momentous season in which some of them have played over 50 games. They have done themselves, the club and the town proud. Did they cause loads of damage like the Pompey players allegedly did in their party? Were they obnoxious and abusive towards fans and members of the public, or start fights? Quite the opposite from what we’ve seen. It’s one evening before they go off for a well deserved break so I think we can cut them a bit of slack there without questioning their lifestyles and professionalism. We’ve had successful teams and iconic players in the past who have been a lot worse than this, trust me.

"As celebrations continued long into the night, Portsmouth players and fans trashed an O'Neills pub during a beer-soaked party, with videos circulating on social media of Marlon Pack addressing fans before being rudely interrupted by Joe Rafferty mooning the audience."

Crawley Town win promotion to L1 after a fantastic Wembley victory.
CTFC fans (a minority thankfully) moan like little b1tches.

Sweet jesus.
You really couldn't make it up could you.....the only embarrassment are the posters!
I was appalled. There they were at Wembley shaking an expensive bottle of champagne and spraying it around. Far better to demand some glasses and savour the moment. Or use Prosecco.

What about Jack Grealish in his first Premier League title celebrations for Man City - look that up on Youtube
