I won't bother with Wealdstone, but I haven't been to the Lewes ground before so will probably do that. I can combine it with a trip to the seaside or Borde Hill Garden near Haywards Heath (I have an annual membership there).
Lewes is a great ground, very close to the train station and easy free parking in college car park at the far end of the road past the ground.
The pitch was fantastic this last season - probably better than ours. They played a similar style to us this season, though they’ve changed manager, so tactics may change a bit.
The food in the ground is excellent too, plus plenty of pubs nearby.
Well worth a visit.
No problem if you can't remember, but is there a height barrier at the car park entrance? I ask because I have a highish van that doesn't go under the usual 2.1m height bars
Talking of which, it was great fun when they fitted one at the bottom end of Cherry Lane when I was a kid. 6' 6", as it was then, was the ideal crossbar height for children, so we turned it into a goal. It was even more fun when the police van went down there and it knocked the light off the top.

I dont think Lewes car pk outside ground has any restrictions buts its a small car pk. Not sure but doubt any restrictions at College. Is always station car pk. Lewes is very close to the railway stn, pubs nearby, steap terrace behind goal, excellent seating close to pitch and check out their website for exclusive executive boxes otherwise known as beach huts (literally Im not joking).

I wouldn’t park in the car park immediately outside the ground - as George said, it’s very small. Instead, drive down the road alongside the ground and just before you get to the leisure centre, there’s an entrance to the college on the left, which Lewes FC have an agreement to use. No height limit and tons of space. Normally they close the gate about an hour after the game.
Shrewsbury host Birmingham pre-season. Bit odd that as you dont normally play teams in your league pre-season. Wonder if when the fixture are out they'll pull put of the are playing each other early on.
