Interesting talk about the nft strategy (and failure) and importantce of local fans. And that they won't need to have a vote
Given the chance to have a pop at the wagmi out chanters he didn't, which shows some class
Not listened to yet, but point about not needing vote interesting. I believe they stated when taking over 2 years ago that "if they did NOT win promotion in two years" they would put themselves up for a vote. They obviously succeeded so no vote required.
Liked his honesty about season tickets in saying they will go up as we’re going to a higher league, but he’s also taking some serious advice from others to make sure he doesn’t put fans off from renewing etc.
Genuinely believe him when he says he’s fallen in love with the town and the fans.
He must have as they’ve put a lot of money in to this club with basically no obvious return as yet.

Hope they stay a very long time personally.
Yes Good Interview! They Parted with a Fair Bit of Money in their 1st Season, but dont forget they made Money on Transfer Dealings Last Season. Hopefully they Cough up this Season because they had a relatively cheap season just gone!
Yes, a good interview. Preston (understandably) sounded a lot more positive than the forum earlier in the year, when he was unsure whether they’d still be wanted come the end of the season.
The WAGMI United board were at the Wembley Final and I think now that they are probably willing to invest more now we are a League 1 team - Preston alluded to that in his interview with BBC Radio Sussex - about the long term commitment and investment in the club - its been a years long learning curve for them after their first season at the club - second season they got it right - now lets see what happens from now.
The first priority is the Manager and Players contracts to be sorted, we need this squad to stick together with a few chosen additions - I think we will all agree on that, then season ticket and match prices, lastly match day experiences - should we still keep the North End section of the terraces which we had for the MK Dons game - and reduce the standing area for away supporters or it could be argued that we only give them half of the East Stand - up to 1000 seats. It will be obvious which teams would use their full allocation of away support - the like of Birmingham, Charlton, Reading.
With 17,000 in the Crawley section of Wembley, surely we will gain a good number of them coming to watch your home town team next season in League 1 - we all know that Premier League match costs are extortionate and hopefully some supporters may just think is it really worth it with travelling etc - you saw how Crawley played in the three play-off matches - just try it you may just enjoy the games better especially without VAR and could be getting home in the 20 minutes after the game.
