The first of these matches is due up on tuesday and we get the undoubted honour of playing Spurs U21s
Hopefully ZE will be putting in some serious thought about a new manager so I won't be at all concerned if nobody has been appointed before this game, even if someone has got the job I can't see them picking a side so it'll be down to Jimmy and Filipe
I'm interested to see what sort of team they go for, is it going to be a full strength team or will J&F go down the squad path
I'm going for a win for us with the gates being locked by 530pm as a full house turn up to welcome Darren Ferguson as our new manager, but there again I just might be wrong on all counts .........

Tonights match has been slightly delayed to an 8pm kick off due to a crash on the M23 holding up some of our players and the Spurs coach, that's the official line anyway I still reckon it's due to a sell out crowd ......

Anyone going in the West Stand tonight keep an eye on the "posh" seats, see if you can spot any potential new gaffers. It'll probably be the person shouting "This lot?! You expect me to manage this lot?!" and storming off after 25 minutes.
Hopefully nobody much will turn up as our fans finally cotton on to this further attempt by the PL to trash all football outside their exalted level. Some hopes, I am sure there will be loads of deniers there.
I guess that Payne must be in pain as he's still missing, Grego-Cox is away and the others having a chance to cosy up with the new manager are Smith, Vincelot, Francomb and Gambin

0-0 at half time, sounds like we've had a number of chances including N'Gala hitting the post early on
Galach on for his debut in place of Nathaniel-George at the start of the second half
3 corners on the trot, then we lose possession and screw up, 0-1 to Spurs, Bulman tries to pass back to Mersin and Spurs intercept, another day another cock up goal
That goodness, N'Gala does his striker impersonation, well we need someone to, and it's 1-1
Tonights attendance a rather surprisingly plump 1403

whatever way you look at it that's a fine victory. THe depressing part is the crowd - 1400 is good for this competition. But how many of them came for the opposition rather than the home team?
