On Saturday, after losing to Woking, a home fan reported the owner to the police for allegedly snorting cocaine in the toilets. Mr Tamplin, the owner denied it. Due to attention received from the police, he put the club up for sale. It is alleged Mr Tamplin was a hyperactive owner, giving motivational talks before games etc. This article is in today's Telegraph. Something nice about the article is that it doesn't mention our club as potentially joining the likes of Rushden, Fisher, Colne Dynamos in the list of clubs that no longer exist after a benefactor walks away.
