He was injured, he played against Cambridge and maybe it was too early but I was surprised to see him against Pompey so maybe he is playing himself back to form and fitness?
He is definitely a midfielder, but IMHO when played alongside Payne & Rabdakl there is too much duplication & they get taken out with one decent pass... we need to get a better balance & i am also a big fan of Pooch who disrupts the opposition before they can get their moves effectively started.

Maybe 'Pooch' can play in an attacking midfield role and then he can still disrupt the opposition, but can add to the attack.
