The FA Cup 1st round draw is taking place at 7pm on Monday live on BBC 2 folks.
Last year we had the toughest draw you could get at this stage - away to the League 1 leaders (Wigan) so lets hope this year does not follow suit - although I am sure we would take a good following to Pompey!
About time we had a cup run (excluding the Sussex Senior Cup....) so a home draw against non league opposition please

Absolutely not Notts County at home or away, hopefully not any team that's National League or above, I'll hope for a home draw against the weakest, lowest rated team left in the competition so that we can (hopefully) actually win an FA Cup match
How quickly the doom merchants forget our magical cup run which ended at Old Trafford....if we never won another FA cup match that run will always make me feel such pride...

We did it again the following season - all the way to the 5th round. Did you forget?
Since Steve Evans leaving none of the mangers have seemed to care about the FA cup always playing a weakened team. They don't seem to regard the supporters hope of a cup run and if you do have a cup run then it generates more money for the club.
It's our turn for some luck, so a low level non league team will be perfect, at home
This could be the season, I can almost see those twin towers

I fear we used up all our luck and good cup runs after we played at Old Trafford. It’s now misery.
You can argue that the luck extended to the following two seasons, three when you consider that we were in a higher division than Bristol Rovers at the time.

Not sure that’s true at all, we got to the third round in 2012/13 under Richie Barker, since then, although we’ve only won one tie (and that was under Barker!), I don’t believe that all managers have fielded weakened sides, we’ve just had some very tough first round draws. We may have been poor at Yeovil 4 seasons ago, but it was a full-strength side.
