I know he is loved by our fan base and I am sure he is a good guy but Connolly is awful, he makes mistakes every game, gives away stupid fouls and pens most games. Today he was shocking. It is time the myth around him went. As for the rest of the team its a disgrace today. It has been the case all season that no one comes up to support Palmer, when he fact he could well be the best player at holding the ball we have ever had. There is no urgency when we attack except when ANG runs, most of time we go sideways for Young and Francomb to put it a embarrassing cross. The last two games which I have been to both have been awful.
Is it too much to ask to do the simple things right? I really feel sorry for Morris in all of this.
at last someone else can see Connolly is stealing a living playing in this league. Morris had little protection. Defensively we were pathetic, shambolic and clueless. Yes one their goals mayve been offside but we switched off. Need play to whistle. Very unprofessional.
Poor result, not the best performance but we came up against a good side today who were clinical up front and very robust defensively.
Let’s move on quickly and put it in perspective - this was our first home defeat in months. Some of the criticism of the players was way OTT in my opinion.
Did we have a midfield today? MK moved with ease and speed repeatedly from their box to ours
Today's performance was tragic by any measure
The non midfielder Camara ran around like a half baked headless chicken. He tried i give him that. Did we have a midfield? Yes but they were off the pace, all over the place ineffective and lost.
we could have fielded anyone of our 1st 11s today and it would have made no difference MK are 2 steps ahead of us and they will win this league and probably L1 next season it was men vs boys
At times i thought we played some decent football tbh and 2 of the goals were our mistakes and another was offside so we can take comfort in that if we cut out these mistakes we will give ourselves every chance in the games to come

We will neither go up this year nor go down so happy days. Our season will be ups ( the welsh) and beaten up as we were today. onwards and upwards!
We played some nice football at times but MK were different gravy. They were by far the best team we have had at the Broadfield for a couple of seasons. Barring 2 bad defensive mistakes and the bad offside goal they would of only scored one goal. With Palmer failing to score with 2 decent headed chances we could of nicked it 2 - 1
I couldn;t work out what our formation was......it looked like 4-1-2-3 at times.Lewis up next to OP and poor Francomb having to deal with 2 MK players doulbling up on him.Was a shambles but we can put it behind us and move on.
If you make mistakes good sides will punish you and our two most inconsistant players Young and Connolly did it again, why isn't McEnery given a chance and Young is prefered to Camara who is only in he's first season but for me shows more promise. The only positive for me is that their keeper had more saves to make than normal.
From the BBC we had 53% possesion, 21 shots but only 5 on target. MK dons were far the better team. Whilst we had plenty of possession our passing tended to be sideways and when we attacked it was easy to put everyone behind the ball. It was the same against Exeter. We need to learn to push forward quicker. Camara can do this and can open up space in opposition defence, however we do need to cover his runs forward for when he makes a mistake. MK broke forward withpace and strength, causing our defence many problems. We also had 9 corners but did not look a real threat in any of them.
This team will improve, and we have seen that we are capable of good football. A good cup win will give us confidence.

If you take out Ollie and Bondz we are a fairly small team in comparison with most others I've seen. So it's no surprise that just lumping corners into the box won't be that effective but we tried to vary them and it nearly worked with the short corner and cross to the back post in the first half. Ollie would probably bury that 8 times out of 10 but as with the chance in the second half it wasn't to be.
I just feel that without Bondz at the back we lack the physical presence to deal with the likes of Aneke. On the evidence of yesterday we are also far too open in midfield and really need somebody to get in amongst the opposition and stop them running through us. The sort of role that Keith Keane performed a few years ago. Maybe if Vincelot was pushed forward he could play that role.
Agree the MK were a very good side and although we can go on about mistakes, decisions etc, I thought they took their foot off the gas in the second half after we'd let them walk through us to score the 3rd. They were quite content to let us have possession and huff and puff. It was one of those days where nothing was going to go in. And, as one of our group pointed out, they probably weren't really trying that hard to score when Conns decided to do his Franz Beckenbauer impersonation and gift wrap them a 4th.
