On a side note, do we not lose Gambin at Christmas? Myself and many others I’m sure would like him to stay, he was a real driving force in the attack but got phased out in the second half.
MK were stronger & far better organised than we were.. but our individual mistakes meant that it was just too easy for them to - economically & cleanly - pick us apart.
We lost overplaying it, they kept it simple and shredded us... not so much "men against boys" as "adults versus stroppy teenagers".

If Gambin is only with us till Christmas we will require permission from his club for him to play in the FA cup.

According to the interview on the official site, he is on loan until the end of the season.
Hatters midfielder Luke Gambin has joined Sky Bet League Two club Crawley Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old Malta international has made 38 appearances for the Town since signing from Barnet for an undisclosed fee in January 2017. He has found the net three times and helped the Hatters to promotion from the fourth tier last term.
The popular midfielder will link up with Crawley ahead of their game at Oldham tomorrow.
He will be eligible to play for the Sussex club in the FA Cup, but not the Checkatrade Trophy.
Good luck in your time at the Broadfield Stadium, Gambo!
Sorry late catching up with this, MK Dons the best team in the division and have a class act as manager.
We are not at their level yet but am confident we will finish the season higher than our current 12th spot. The issue for us is Kewell left us with a slightly unbalanced squad where the "spine" is not really as oak strong as it should be, we need more dominating central defenders and central defenders to cope with the physical rigour of League 2. Kewell did bring in talented touch players so I thank him for that, am not a Harry hater tho I understand why some don't like him because he jumped ship so soon, that's fair enough. I feel we got lucky with getting in a smart, passionate guy like Cioffi who will need the Jan window to correct the slightly over idealistic bias of Kewell's recruitment.
Gabi has stiffened the midfield by playing all action Camera in there who runs around like 2 players, so I think Gabi did make a mistake today not playing him. He wanted Gambin and Ash in the team but again I think more thought is needed to ensure that doesn't make us too much of a less rugged touch. They are two promising flair players but we must get the defensive and strength basics right for them to properly shine

I would also add that we are short a proper winger or two. This has resulted in Young or Francomb having to play further forward on the right. Be interesting to see what happens in January.
I did get the opportunity to speak with Cioffi's agent at the Portsmouth game and asked whether we could expect to see a few players coming over from Italy. The answer was that it would be unlikely.
