Who's Been A Naughty Boy Then ? Dean Saunders jailed for 10 weeks for failing to provide roadside breath test
Some forum members have asked for clearer thread topics and so here (and you may occasionally notice others) the title threads will be changed. In this instance from 'Who's Been a Naughty Bot Then ?' to 'Dean Saunders Jailed Thanks, George PS I also appreciate there are times when the same matter is discussed in two separate places such as here, in that Dean Saunders is also an 'ex-Red'. I think that is somewhat unavoidable, but on occasions Admin will try and join the posts up. The 'Ex-Reds' thread is however somewhat unique and keeps a record of ex-Reds movement and so on so I am happy to keep a reference there and separately herein.
Two things: (1) it sounds like he will appeal and get bail pending the appeal (2) if the article in the link is correct, a reduced sentence might be on the cards because the judge gave a strong hint he was increasing the sentence due to him being in the public eye - a deterrent effect. Therefore, it can be argued that a part of his sentence is because of who he is rather than what he did - unequal treatment in law. If he hasn't got similar previous, I reckon there's a decent chance the lock-up part of the sentence will be reduced, suspended or quashed. signed, The Terrace Lawyer.

I will admit that I was close to joining into the "we want you to stay" songs at Posh away that day, but this dispels any sense of regard towards the bloke.
I actually met Cliff Cant in Wandsworth Prison many years ago - he was a warden and I was visiting with my company at the time for a refurbishment project to the cells.
I heard a voice say "hello Alain" - and my colleagues looked at me - I though who the hell knows me here!!!!!! it was Cliff.
