If his twitter account is to be believed HK is back in St.Petersburg at the Confederation Cup, which runs for some time. Would he be able to fit us into his hectic schedule!?
Like I said he has so much commitments, that we are not a number 1 priority and right now, that's not what we need at our club,he may be a name but that's not what we need we need someone 100% committed, the sooner the owners realise we don't need a name,to push the club forward,no appointment should take this long sorry people he's not for me,I don't give a s..t who he has played for,all I care about is Crawley
Almost 3 weeks now since DD left, no retained list, Bulman signed, but no manager. People will say there is no urgency. Well there is.
Firstly because STs need to be sold and we need to generate interest and excitement.
Secondly today is 22nd May, on 22nd July we have a PSF against Brighton. The players need a good pre season and certainly need to be a hell of a lot fitter than last season.
Finally in these tough economic times players want to get fixed up sooner rather than later, we don't need another summer where we are signing players from Woking and Aldershot to fill the squad.

Completely agree with all of this. We seem to be way too relaxed as a club with appointing a manager and then getting the rest of it all sorted out.
We now have six days to tell players whether they're going to be retained or not (third Saturday in May is the requirement for this) and yet we still have nobody running the rule on them. Will it be Selim deciding who's worth keeping and who's not? The likes of Young and Bawling have earner contracts year on year in this scenario with us.
Bearing in mind we appointed DD the same day we ditched Yates, I'm amazed the search for a manager is taking this long - and is still ongoing. If we're close to appointing Kewell, then what the heck is he doing over in Russia - has he turned the job down and we're back to the drawing board?
not sure i would put Blackman in with that lot Simon he got better and better and with a decent manager could turn out to be one h*ll of a player he is a great athlete and now that petulant streak seems to have wained he really could kick on
We will agree to disagree on that then.
If he is a L2 left back then I am a Dutchman. He might look good going forward but he can't defend for toffee.
He can. In fact his defending got better the last couple of months of the season, as did his overall play. He might make a few mistakes, but then so do all of our players (maybe not Morris). Perhaps our most improved player of the season. IMHO.
I hear that if Harry doesn't sign in the next few days, the deal is off and Eren will revert to plan B,as in what he stated he wanted in his press conference
Just because stuff isnt in the public domain it doesnt necessarily mean there havent been dialogues with our players by whoever, but agree it doesnt seem an ideal situation from a season ticket selling point of view. From HK twitter it implies he has left St Petersburg so may be on his way to sign?! But just being nosey I see that on his HK Academy page he has the best part of two weeks coming up shortly where he is making appearances at Academy events in Australia. Maybe that is his holiday, but seems to coincide with a time when we need to get cracking with player signings etc bearing in mind their does not appear to have been a huge amount of activity so far. Or is he going to rely on an assistant to carry the burden while away. That is where an experienced assistant would be a big benefit (as it would throughout the season imo). The feelgood from the Danny Bulman signature cannot sustain interest much longer we either need an appointment or a further statement from the club over what is happening?
Here is is rubbing shoulders with Ronaldinho, yesterday. Not sure I'd be keen on trading in that to work with the likes of Lewis Young and Bobson Bawling!

Maybe he could bring him along with him, that might entice all those Premier League/Champions League obsessives out of their armchairs to watch some "real football"?
The problem is he will be relying on the number two as he goes away to the confed cup in Russia after his Academy commitments in Australia.but he is no good either, have you seen warrens record at Newport, this whole thing feels me with dread

You're the one that came up with the 'news' of his becoming manager, if you've got the inside knowledge then why don't you tell us what's going on? or are you just another BS merchant?
